Weeks 2 & 3 at The Pop Topic

There was a lot of controversy over Liberty University allowing students back on campus to live there after spring break as the novel coronavirus continues to spread. It's evident that the university's president, Jerry Falwell Jr., had good intentions in the decision, but the statements ended up ill-fated as it was confirmed that at least one student tested positive for the coronavirus.


Churches and other places of worship are known to bring a lot of help and comfort to communities in times of crisis, but now that large gatherings are temporarily banned across the country, how are church services being held? How are churches helping people?


China's credibility has been questionable at times throughout the coronavirus crisis. From keeping information of the outbreak in Wuhan until things got out of hand, countless shipments of faulty supplies, and now selling back supplies to Italy– the country that donated the same supplies they got back. Can we trust China in this coronavirus crisis?
